Ascent

Subaru’s flagship utility is ready to transport a crowd, thanks to three comfortable rows, plenty of cargo space, and multiple cup holders for everyone aboard. For 2026, the automaker has revised the trim lineup and made targeted updates. The Onyx Edition has been dropped (although the Onyx Edition Touring still tops the lineup), but the base Premium has been improved with standard StarTex leatherette upholstery. The Touring boasts a more upscale feel thanks to new woodgrain interior accents that often grace luxury vehicles. The Ascent continues to be assembled in Subaru’s state-of-the-art facility in Lafayette, Indiana. Spacious, all-weather, balanced, and refined, the Ascent is perfect for big families and groups.
